About Kerrie
Kerrie Kelly’s work elevates everyday design, bridging the gap between design principles and life well lived. She founded her California-based design studio in 1995 with the vision of making great design accessible to everyone. As CEO & Creative Director of the Kerrie Kelly studio, Kerrie leads a team of exceptional designers and has built long-term relationships with numerous brand partners.
Kerrie has received national recognition for her expertise in interior design. Kerrie is a Board Member and Global Connect Advisor for the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA); Fellow, Design Luminary Award recipient and Past-Chair to the National Board for American Society of Interior Designers (ASID); Houzz Advisory Board Member; and Zillow Interior Design National Spokesperson. Kerrie’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Bloomberg, Forbes, The Globe and Mail, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal.
In her role as a multimedia consultant, Kerrie guides brands and creates content to help them expand their reach and influence. She serves on the Editorial Board of Furniture, Lighting & Décor and is a speaker and on-air talent for outdoor living and livable design. She is the author of Home Decor: A Sunset Design Guide and Pearson Education’s MyInteriorDesignKit.
Kerrie’s background in construction and business drives her innovation in the field of interior design. As Director of Merchandising of the Del Webb and Pulte Homes teams, she guided designers and homeowners, selecting finishes for over 10,000 new homes and models. Her experience makes Kerrie the go-to-choice for residential projects and production as well as custom home builders wanting a team that is knowledgeable about model home design and its furnishings while targeting specific demographics. Kerrie holds an Interior Design Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a Masters of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix.
